The World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education was originally established by the late Bishop Dr. James A.L. Dussault and the late Rev. Dr. William F. Knox as the World Council of Global Education. In 2001, the name was changed to the World Council of Postsecondary and Religious Education, by Dr. Dussault and Dr. Bradley Carey, so as to increase the scope and vision of this organization.
