58 million Americans are overweight, 40 million obese and 3 million morbidly obese. There's a 76% increase in Type II diabetes in adults 30 to 40 years old since 1990. H. J. Aspartame is addictive, and causes craving for carbohydrates, Low-Cal Weight Gain Poison. Chronic methanol poisoning affects the brain's dopamine system and causes the addiction. The National Soft Drink Association protest against approval of aspartame in carbonated beverages was in the May 7, 1985 Senate Congressional Record. FDA Act 21, Section 402 provides that a food is adulterated if it contains in whole or in part "...a decomposed substance or if it is otherwise unfit for food". The NSDA recorded this as found in the congresional record on page S 5509.
NSDA understood the decomposition in soft drinks and objected: "Searle has not demonstrated to a reasonable certainty that aspartame and its degradation products are safe for use in soft drinks...Aspartame is inherently markedly and uniquely unstable in aqueous media. In a liquid, such as a soft drink aspartame will degrade as a function of temperature and pH." S5507
Inferior test methods were used by Searle, NSDA explained: "High pressure liquid chromatography is a far superior analytical method relative to thin layer chromatography and numerous HPLC methods exist for the detection and quantification of amino acids. Searle's choice of TLC over HPLC adversely affected the quality and type of analytical data generated on aspartame and its decomposition producers in soft drinks." S5507..." an important decomposition product of aspartame, aspartic acid cannot be detected at all using TLC." S5508
"The inability to account for as much as thirty-nine percent of aspartame's decomposition products is significant." "The marked and rapid decomposition of aspartame in soft drinks under temperatures known to prevail is apparent from data in the present record and discussed above in these objections. S5509 (So aspartame could not be legally added to carbonated beverages under Section 402 because it decomposes and NSDA admitted that happens."

It will do the same thing in Hawaiian Tropic flavored water. We receive the same complaints from Walmart's aspartame flavored water as from other diet drinks. Walmart has been told for years and cares not. They disregard all victim complaints forwarded by Mission Possible. Many kids have had seizures using this aspartame water.
Dr. Richard Wurtman of MIT was threatened by the VP of Searle with cancellation of research funding if he did studies on aspartame and seizures. The 1998 Trocho Study showed the formaldehyde converted from the methyl alcohol from aspartame accumulates in the cells and damages DNA with most toxicity in the liver. With a toxic liver it is difficult to lose weight. Trocho showed toxicity in the adipose tissue or fat cells. So our poor obese children have their brains impaired and IQs stolen!
The epidemics of obesity and diabetes are not historic. They coincide with FDAs approval of aspartame in the early '80s. Some schools are removing pop machines, thinking obesity is from regular soda. More will fall like snowflakes from Sudden Cardiac Death. 2/10/04 The Daily Herald in Illinois reported: "90% of sudden cardiac deaths involve young athletes." This is probably high because many adult athletes drop dead as well. But it shows the degree of the problem. New York has mandated that no school sporting event shall lack a defibrillator. The trial lawyers of Philadelphia recently gave 79 such units to the schools and in California they talk of making them as common as fire extinguishers. SCD kills 460,000/year of all ages in America.
FDA needed a scapegoat: Ephedra! In September 2000 Neuroscientist Dr. John Olney, funded by the National Institute of Health, released a review of FDA accusations against ephedra and concluded its as dangerous as table salt. An example in FDA files against ephedra were parents who said their son had an ephedra attack when he left his wife and quit their church! This kind of stupidity the FDA uses to ban healthful supplements so industry can gouge us with drugs. Who heard of such before aspartame saturated the market? A recent cartoon showed defibrillators being distributed from a drive-in restaurant. Said Daily Herald: "Many high schools have installed automatic external defibrillators to assist athletes who go into sudden cardiac arrest."

American Water Star's drink for grade school children is Geyser Sport, sugar free, made with the dangerous Sucralose. Hawaiian Tropic contains aspartame. Any company in the aspartame business knows it's a poison. A search on Google.com for aspartame brings up 225,000 sites. Dr. Roberts and I both spoke to Jerome Bressler who wrote the audit and he said the findings were so bad FDA removed the 20% that was the most damning. Dr. Roberts asked his congressman to get it but FDA refused to release it because it reveals their skulduggery. Now it's "confidential".

They all will be afflicted disasterously, relates Doctor Roberts : "The following experience of Dr. Miguel Baret Daniel in the Dominican Republic (personal communication, Nov 19, l999) underscores the adverse mental effects of aspartame in children:
"I have been working with a pediatrician giving nutritional support to children with diabetes. Since cow's milk has a specific protein that can cause diabetes, especially in children, I removed milk from the diet of 360 children studying in public schools in my country. These 360 children were not diabetic, but I removed the milk for prevention. The pediatrician started noticing that a considerable number were having what I call a kind of "brain allergy" - showing abnormal restlessness, lack of concentration, irritability and depression. In the beginning, I suspected it was happening because of the extreme heat we were having those days. But then the weather changed, and the situation didn't get better. So I took a look at their diet and discovered that ALL of them were drinking a lot of one kind of concentrated juice sweetened with ASPARTAME. They drank about 6 oz. twice a day.
"I talked to their parents, and asked them to impress upon the children they should not drink that juice anymore for awhile. The results were as astonishing. Their symptoms disappeared within 4-5 days in ALL of them!"
Dr. Baret Daniel called me when this happened and said: When the kids went from milk to aspartame sweetened juice it was incredible to see almost all were afflicted with the problems. Had a few demonstrated handicaps it would have been hard to find the trigger but since almost all developed the complications he knew it had to be aspartame. It was the only change in the diet of the children. He started researching on the internet and seeing aspartame was known to cause the reactions he was seeing he knew he had found what he was looking for. He asked for more research and then called again and said: "I had the children stop taking aspartame juice and in about 4 days all their problems had ceased and they returned to normal. How could this stuff be approved and allowed for children?"

FDA once attempted to get G D Searle Co., owner of NutraSweet, prosecuted for submitting fraudulent information to get approval. The Justice Department assigned two prosecutors, but they got a better deal from Chicago defense attorneys and switched sides. The case expired with the statute of limitations. No FDA Commissioner would approve aspartame for 16 years. Don Rumsfeld, now Secretary of Defense, was CEO of Searle at the time. He said he would call in his markers and get aspartame approved. He was on President Reagan's transition team and the day after he took office he appointed Dr. Arthur Hull Hayes as FDA Commissioner to do the deadly deed. The FDA set up a Board of Inquiry of the finest scientists they had. They said that aspartame was not safe and caused brain tumors, and that the petition for approval was removed. Dr. Hayes over-ruled that Board of Inquiry and then went to work for the PR Agency of the manufacturer and has refused to talk to the press ever since.

Aspartame is a trigger of what Dr. Blaylock calls - creeping death, the neurodegenerative diseases. In original studies it caused brain, mammary, uterine, ovarian, testicular, pancreatic and thyroid tumors - for starters. It is a Class A carcinogen and violated the Delaney Amendment as FDA toxicologist, Dr. Adrian Gross told congress in l985. The Delaney Amendment forbid putting anything in food you know will cause cancer. Now the Delaney Amendment has been conveniently repealed. Just who decided it was okay to put components in food that would cause cancer? Dr. Gross' final words to Congress were prophetic: "If the FDA violates its own laws who is left to protect the public?" Gross was the FDA toxicologist who wanted Searle indicted, as did their toxicologist Dr. Jacqueline Verrett who told congress all studies were built on a foundation of sand and should be thrown out.
There is no protector for the people, the reason for Mission Possible International, an unpaid global volunteer force alerting the public aspartame is a deadly chemical poison, a neurotoxic drug. Babies are murdered in their mother's womb, but FDA and its industry sponsors refuse a warning for pregnant women. Dr. James Bowen declares: Aspartame Murders Infants: "At every point in the fertility process aspartame destroys, beginning with the gleam in Mom and Pop's eyes. It ruins female sexual response and induces male sexual dysfunction. Beyond this, aspartame disrupts fetal development by aborting it or inducing defects. And if a live child is born aspartame may have heinously damaged the DNA of the baby, cursing future generations."

Roberts says it's the whole chemical mess. That FDA approves a product that liberates methyl alcohol is insanity.
Cori Brackett, aspartame victim, was diagnosed by the Mayo Clinic as having MS, and had the largest lesion they ever diagnosed in an MS patient. Cori filmed Diane Fleming in a Virginia prison on a 50-year sentence. Diane, a Sunday School teacher, happily married to Charles, a body builder and basketball player, about four times a week. He was an aspartame addict using at least 10 diet drinks a day along with Metrex with aspartame, Equal and lots of prescription drugs, Gatorade and creatine. Diane tried to get him to cut down on things she thought dangerous but he told her "more is better". Charles paid with his life. Creatine releases methyl alcohol.
Charles died at the time of their son's high school graduation when their house was full of relatives, a fine time to murder your mate, right? The police, seeing methanol poisoning on the autopsy, decided Diane poisoned him, even though she helped them and passed a polygraph with flying colors. I spoke with an officer who was taken off the case, who said: "I know Diane Fleming is an innocent woman. I've put a lot of people in prison and some were executed but I always knew I had gotten a killer off the street. I would not have allowed this innocent woman to be indicted but I couldn't prevent it. How could I have ever slept if I had caused a guiltless woman to be imprisoned."
Diane is also an aspartame victim, lied to by FDA, NutraSweet, and Diet Coke and the professional organizations they fund. The family didn't know Charles was drinking formaldehyde cocktails, thought it was safe. She was in depression when she lost her husband and was put on Zoloft. Zoloft interacts with aspartame. Diane thought she was so blessed by having a wonderful husband and happy life that she wanted to give something back. She bought clothes for the homeless and helped them in a hands-on method. She is a sweet Sunday School teacher. Does the FDA know about this? Of course! Do they care? Of course not! They must protect their future employers! Just one more victim among millions!
I filed a Citizens Petition to ban aspartame based on the fact the FDA's records show it to be a chemical poison and they lied to the public. They have 180 days by law to answer. It will be two years in June. Their last letter said they have competing priorities. Translation: "We're guilty and you're right. We'll never answer. We're above the law."
They have front groups who mislead the public which is a crime under Title 18, Section 1001. The Calorie Control Council [CCC} is registered to the Aspartame page. Their lies are legend but recently they crossed the line of humanity by writing the Miami Herald saying aspartame is safe for pregnant women! Knowing full well it can kill the baby! They know the Trocho Study shows how much toxicity aspartame causes in the liver, can cause advanced liver disease. Yet they said people with advanced liver disease can use aspartame. Even the FDA has a prohibition against those with phenylketonuria using aspartame because they can't metabolize the phenylalanine. It will cause brain damage or be fatal. Yet the CCC said people with PKU can use this toxin. The toxicity of aspartame is a matter of public record. The Calorie Control Council actually even said aspartame doesn't get in the blood stream. An aspartame maker said it does in their own study: Aspartame, Physiology and Biochemistry, Marcel Dekker, Inc., New York, L.D. Stegink and L. J. Filer, Jr., l984 (Pro-industry, Significantly corporate sponsored) Page 161 presents a study by AJINOMOTO, Japanese manufacturer:

Like nitroglycerin under the tongue, it goes straight to the brain. Seizures! Wrigley cares not.

Let them know they should get a Hazmat placard and dump the toxic aspartame and sucralose in a toxic dump away from our precious children, and apologize to this country for wanting to poison our kids. Whoever gave them $8 million that they were going to use to carry out this deadly deed needs to come get it. Water for our children should be pure and even free of fluoride, just the way God gave it to us.
What the aspartame makers are worried about, is if it is removed from the schools and the menu's of our children the aspartame problems will disappear and everyone will know they committed genocide in marketing a deadly chemical poison for human consumption. Read Alex Constantine's article on web, NutraPoison. He says it was listed with the pentagon in an inventory of prospective biochemical warfare weapons submitted to Congress. No wonder they won't talk to me about aspartame!
