As our Report For Schools shows, aspartame makes you fatter and destroys the brains of our children. http://www.mpwhi.com/report_on_aspartame_and_children.htm

A program by the ADD people, Feingold, proved beyond any shadow of a doubt how to eliminate problems in schools, behavioral to learning disorders. You simply have to eliminate the cause. http://www.advancedhealthplan.com/miracleschool.html

Appleton School in Wisconsin was chosen because it was the worst school with more drop-outs, reduction in IQ, behavioral problems and learning disorders. All vending machines were removed. Natural Ovens prepared hot nutritional lunches. At the end of the program Appleton High School became known as "Miracle in Wisconsin"! Other schools decided to follow the program. This experiment proved that when you eliminate vending machines, MSG and aspartame, there is a dramatic change. After all, we are what we eat. Appleton went from being the worst school in Wisconsin to the "best" school with no more learning or other problems.

This issue in NZ has been on-going since the contract with Coke was signed in 2006. You can see the Health Minister in New Zealand is knowledgeable of the fact aspartame should not be given to children. http://www.mpwhi.com/health_minister_admitted_aspartame_not_for_kids.htm

The bottom line is Coke vending machines should be eliminated in schools and replaced with nutritional drinks. To allow children to consume aspartame, a product that is well known to trigger memory loss, seizures, behavioral problems and blindness is immoral and objectionable. Aspartame can precipitate diabetes, make you crave carbohydrates so you gain weight and interacts with drugs and vaccines. It's a multipotential carcinogen and that is just for starters. The last Ramazzini Study in 2007 showed it only takes a small amount of aspartame to cause cancer, and if a pregnant woman uses it and the baby survives the cancer can be passed on. The Trocho Study shows the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol actually embalms living tissue and damages DNA. http://www.mpwhi.com/formaldehyde_from_aspartame.pdf

There is but one action left for aspartame and that is to ban it. It should never have been approved to begin with and the Board of Inquiry of FDA agreed with Dr. Olney on the damage this poison can cause children. Aspartame is so widely known as a poison it has a bad name. Ajinomoto decided to clean it up by changing the name to AminoSweet. Don't be fooled. No studies were ever done in New Zealand, as admitted by Food Standards; they used the rubberstamp of the FDA. Yet it is FDA who tried so hard to have the manufacturer indicted for fraud, and their Board of Inquiry who signed their names to revoke the petition for approval.

The issue is so well known there are medical texts on the subject, Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic by H. J. Roberts, M.D., and Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills by Russell Blaylock, M.D. The documentary Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World, http://www.soundandfury.tv interviews the experts. DC Attorney James Turner explains how Donald Rumsfeld got aspartame marketed after the Board of Inquiry had revoked the petition for approval: http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download

Dr. John Olney testified particularly on how aspartame would cause birth defects and MSG, another excitotoxin would compound the problem. Here is that 49 page report: http://www.mpwhi.com/main.htm

Dr. Louis Elsas, pediatric professor, genetics, testified to Congress that aspartame can cause birth defects and mental retardation. http://www.mpwhi.com/louis_elsas_testifying_to_congress.htm Aspartame is in violation of a federal law against Genocide., criminal Code, Title 18 Chapter 50A, Sec 1091-3.

http://www.rense.com/general/asp.htm

Is there any parent who would voluntarily allow their child to use a product that once was listed with the Pentagon in an inventory of prospective biochemical warfare weapons submitted to Congress? http://www.mpwhi.com/ecologist_september_2005.pdf It's outrageous. Whatever it takes aspartame should be removed from all schools in all lands.

If a child needs a sweetener for any reason they do have Just Like Sugar in New Zealand which contains only food, no chemicals - orange peel, chicory, Vitamin C from organic oranges and calcium. http://www.justlikesugarinc.com Splenda should also be eliminated because its a chlorocarbon poison: http://www.wnho.net/splenda_chlorocarbon.htm

Soft Drink Giants' Move A Pr Ploy, Green MP Says

http://www.guide2.co.nz/politics/news/soft-drink-giants039-move-a-pr-ploy-green-mp-says/11/13210

Wellington, Dec 11 NZPA - Green Party MP Sue Kedgley says soft drink giants' move to supply only diet and low sugar drinks to schools around New Zealand starting today is a PR ploy.

Frucor Beverages Group, which makes Pepsi, and Coca Cola Amatil made a voluntary agreement with the Government in 2006 to stop directly supplying full sugar drinks to schools by December 11.

Ms Kedgley said the sugar-filled frizzy drinks were removed to keep vending machines and both brands in schools -- not for public health.

"The much touted agreement is more about public relations and spin than public health," she said. "Fizzy drinks and vending machines have no place in schools - whether they are sugar-filled or diet drinks."

Coca-Cola Amatil denies her allegations. A spokesperson for the brand said: "I don't think anybody could say that a company that is taking direct responsibility and has a direct multi-million dollar impact to their bottom line is doing this as a public relations stunt, especially in the current economic environment."

The company said it would be hard to find a half dozen vending machines throughout schools in New Zealand, and most were in staff rooms.

"We provide a huge variety of products: water, fruit juice, sports drinks, and diets are a very small part of the portfolio. They are an important part because they provide people with an alternative without any sugar," the spokesperson said.

Ms Kedgley said schools should be encouraging healthy choices, and not allowing students to become addicted to sweet, carbonated drinks.

"Drinks like diet Coca Cola and Pepsi are devoid of nutrition, and contain controversial additives like aspartame, and caffeine, which can make children hyperactive, irritable and anxious," she said.

"They are also highly acidic and can damage tooth enamel and contribute to dental disease. This is a serious public health concern with research showing that the dental health of New Zealand children continues to deteriorate."

Frucor Beverages Group was unavailable to comment.
