Note in this study below detectable methanol in the blood. Isn't it interesting every single study coming in from independent researchers always show problems with aspartame? You can't do a study on a deadly chemical poison and have it show safety. Aspartame was rubberstamped around the world because Don Rumsfeld got it on the market through political chicanery after the FDA first tried to indict the manufacturer for fraud and then revoked the petition for approval. http://www.mpwhi.com
Then when someone like EFSA wants to push for a safety review on aspartame they talk about governmental organizations approval around the world. They leave out a few things. Dr. Adrian Gross, FDA Scientist and toxicologist, told Congress/Senate on 8/1/85 that there is no safe dose of aspartame. He said the FDA should not have been able to even set an allowable daily intake because of the brain cancer and brain tumors. There were other cancers as well and it violated the Delaney Amendment as Gross told Congress. So was aspartame ever proven safe? No! FDA simply violated the law. Never will Dr. Gross' last words be forgotten: "And if the FDA violates the law who is left to protect the public?"
If England had ever known what had gone on it would have never gotten approved there and G. D. Searle knew that. Parliament had a big blowout. Food Standards then was set up there to keep them away from industry. It didn't work. Then I lectured in New Zealand and met with Food Standards. Others were with me from New Zealand. No matter what they said it was wrong and I showed them the documents to prove it. Finally, the man we interviewed confessed: "To tell you the truth we never did any studies in New Zealand. We relied on the FDA." So you see what happened, other countries rely on the FDA.
The studies were so bad G. D. Searle didn't even want the FDA to see what was going on and locked their doors when the FDA visited. How do I know this? Because Lane Shore, Mission Possible Chicago, myself and a reporter, visited Jerome Bressler in a nursing home, who was retired from the FDA. He told how he and Dr. Gross would try to get in and finally Dr. Gross would say "Open the door or we are going for a court order."
I met Jerome Bressler about 8 years before when I thanked him at retirement for getting out the truth. That's when he told me the information on two studies had been stricken from his report and they were so bad they had to be found and returned. He said, "Betty, the public has got to know about this, please help." Dr. H. J. Roberts and Dr. Russell Blaylock also spoke with him. When I got ahold of the studies I understood why Jerome was so concerned, they were birth defect studies and had shown neural tube defects, cleft palate, etc. Neural tube defects and autism are both caused by methanol's effect on different brains during different gestational times of pregnancy! Timing is a critical component of teratogenicity. Now you know why we have an epidemic of autism. I am so thankful we were able to give Jerome back what the FDA had removed before he died and add them back to his report. Lane Shore gave them to him personally.
Dr. Roberts had written his congressman who wrote the FDA also trying to get these studies. The FDA wrote back saying they were confidential. Is that what you call keeping from the public for decades the fact if women use aspartame during pregnancy their baby could have birth defects or be mentally retarded? http://rense.com/general/asp.htm Dr. James Bowen says it comes under Title 18, of the Domestic Genocide law. Some women have told me they have lost as many as 8 babies using aspartame.
Informants who worked for G. D. Searle told me when Rumsfeld was hired to get it on the market all the studies were removed. What ever happened to them? An informant, Jana Marie, who was a temp at the time and paralegal, gave me an affidavit that she was hired to make a copy of them, sent one copy to France and shred them. One thing she said in her affidavit was "aspartame killed everything it touched". So everyone involved knew they were marketing a deadly poison.
Today the FDA has so much power and serves above the law they don't even care if you know. They actually released four more of these aspartame birth defect studies under Freedom of Information to Dr. Woodrow Monte who wrote the book, "While Science Sleeps". Every pregnant mother should be required to read it. The movie "Sweet Misery: A Poisoned World" has James Turner attorney who tried to help Dr. John Olney keep aspartame off the market. You'll see where Turner says Olney got so upset about the shenanigans Searle was pulling that he insisted they do studies in his lab where he could oversee them. Indeed they showed aspartame causes brain damage so he thought aspartame would never get approved. He had no idea Searle never told the FDA. The documentary "Sweet Remedy" followed and Feingold, the ADD people were interviewed. They said before aspartame was approved they hardly ever used the terms ADD and ADHD. Even a study in Norway showed that aspartame destroyed the brain, especially in the area of learning.
Today EFSA is working on a review and they want to say aspartame is safe. Remember the head scientist at the FDA told Congress there is no safe dose. I defy anyone from EFSA to look me straight in the face and try to prove this deadly poison made up of two neurotoxins and an excitotoxin, that breaks down to a brain tumor agent is safe. Dr. Maria Alemany in Barcelona who did the famous Trocho Study proving the formaldehyde converted from the free methyl alcohol embalms living tissue and damages DNA told me aspartame would murder 200 million people. I believe it already has. I cringe at how many babies aspartame has killed or deformed. Remember too that aspartame is an adjuvant, an immune stimulator, and interacts with vaccines. Between aspartame and babies being given so many vaccines that can completely destroy their immune system, they hardly have a chance.
The medical text, "Aspartame Disease: An Ignored Epidemic" by H. J. Roberts, M.D. is over 1000 pages. He told me it would take another 200 pages just to bring it up-to-date with all these last studies from three studies by Dr. Morando Soffritti showing aspartame to be a multipotential carcinogen to those showing it causes heart attacks, strokes, obesity, raises fasting blood sugar, and can even jump preterm births by 78%. Of course, there are more, all showing how unsafe this chemical poison is like the one from Harvard on diet drinks and lymphoma, multiple myeloma and leukemia. "Excitotoxins: The Taste That Kills" by neurosurgeon Russell Blaylock, M.D. also goes into aspartame horrors.
Diane Fleming has been in prison for over ten years sentenced to 30 years for poisoning her athletic husband with methanol. She took three lie detector tests and passed. When experts looked at the autopsy they wrote he died from aspartame. Then a toxicologist, Dr. Al Bayati, did studies and found probably it was three times the amount of creatine he also used that actually caused his death. Dr. James Bowen wrote about the interaction of creatine and aspartame. Then someone from GNC called me and finally admitted there was aspartame in the creatine, unlabeled. That is against the law. Diane was a Sunday School teacher who helped the homeless. Even when she was on TV the police refused to comment because they knew she was innocent. She is not the only case. A man also called from Texas who said he had an aspartame blackout, drove 6 blocks asleep and killed 3 people. He spent 5 years in prison. Then a man called from Canada who said he got a DUI mostly from diet pop. There is a study about it.
